Two days ago, news related to Xiaomi was revealed that the company could present the Redmi Note 8 series on the Tech platform on 29 August. The date was being discussed since Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing commented on a social post. At the same time, closing all these gossips, Xiaomi has officially unveiled the launch date of the Redmi Note 8 series. The company has revealed that on 29 August, Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will be introduced on the Tech platform.

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has released the poster of the launch date of Redmi Note 8 series on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, stating that the company will launch two new smartphones while organizing the event in China on 29 August. This series will include Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Through this poster, Redmi has made another sensational disclosure that the company will also launch its first 64-megapixel camera setup with the Redmi Note 8 series.

The poster shared by Redmi has also featured the Redmi Note 8 series smartphone. The back panel of the phone is seen in this poster, which has given information about the rear camera setup. The quad-camera setup is placed in the middle of the back panel, which is present in a vertical shape in a ring. There are three camera sensors in this ring, and the fingerprint sensor is at the bottom. There is another sensor on the right side of the ring, and flashlight is given above this sensor. 64-megapixel is also written under the camera setup of Redmi Note 8 Pro. Similarly, the volume rocker and power button are provided on the right panel of the phone.

It is rumoured that the 64-megapixel camera will be seen only in the Redmi Note 8 Pro model. In this phone, the company will use Samsung GW1 64MP sensor. This upcoming smartphone of Xiaomi will be able to take a photo with 9248 x 6936 pixels resolution, and the size of a photo taken from this phone can be close to 20MB. Photographs taken of the phone will be of ultra high resolution, which will be more advanced than any 8K TV.
